"Allie
& Libby, St. Thomas", oil. "I met these girls and their parents on the beach, when I went to St. Thomas for a visit with the gallery representing me there. As I sat under my umbrella relaxing before my next meeting, I watched these girls play in the sand. As the day came to a close for them, they threw on their t-shirts and sat down for a serious conversation between sisters. I can only guess what they spoke of, but it seemed like such a touching moment that it had to be the first painting I did of them. With their parents permission, I grabbed my camera and filled it up. I am sure they will be the subject of many more to come. Thank you Allie & Libby."

"Statue
of Liberty, New York", oil. "This painting expresses my feelings and view from the boat, as we anxiously awaited our visit with Lady Liberty. It was one of the most moving experiences I have ever had. We watched our friend, Ara, as he searched for his family and marveled at the experiences of all the peoples she welcomed. These were the actual cloud formations that day. I liked how they seemed to part for her majesty."

"Tiger
In Oil", oil. "The Bengal Tiger has always been my most admired animal...especially, the Tigress. Her beauty, strength and devotion to family is amazing! I pulled one ear back on her-as if to say, 'I am big, beautiful and look cuddly, but don't mess with my family.' I was anxious to tell in oils of the wonderful colors in her coat.".
